Stylish Galore respects the intellectual-property rights of photographers, designers, writers, artists, brands, publishers and other content creators.
We make reasonable efforts to use images and other materials lawfully, provide appropriate attribution where required and respond promptly to legitimate copyright concerns. This policy explains how copyrighted material may appear on Stylish Galore and how rights holders can request review, correction or removal.
The formal notice requirements below are based on Section 512 of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Our Good-Faith Approach to Content Use
Stylish Galore publishes educational and inspirational content about interior design, home décor, organization, small-space living, furniture, products and related topics.
Images and other materials may be used to:
- Illustrate interior-design concepts
- Demonstrate decorating ideas
- Discuss products or design trends
- Explain room layouts or colour combinations
- Provide educational commentary
- Support product comparisons or recommendations
- Show examples of particular styles or techniques
We aim to use every image and creative work respectfully and only when we reasonably believe that its use is permitted, licensed, appropriately attributed or otherwise lawful.
However, ownership information can sometimes be unclear, incomplete or incorrectly associated with material found online. If you believe that your copyrighted work appears on Stylish Galore without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review the matter.
Respect for Visual Creators
Stylish Galore recognizes the work of photographers, interior designers, architects, stylists, illustrators, artists, brands and other visual creators.
Visual content can require substantial creativity, experience, equipment, planning and financial resources. We do not intentionally claim ownership of another creator’s original work or knowingly remove accurate ownership information.
When we become aware of a valid concern, we aim to handle it professionally, respectfully and without unnecessary delay.
How Images May Appear on Stylish Galore
Images published on Stylish Galore may come from one or more of the following sources.
Original Photography and Visual Content
Some photographs, illustrations, graphics or digital compositions may be created specifically for Stylish Galore by its owner, contributors, contractors or collaborators.
Unless otherwise stated, original content created for Stylish Galore is protected by applicable copyright law and may not be copied, republished, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without prior permission.
Licensed Stock Photography
We may use images obtained through paid or free stock-photography platforms.
Such images are used according to the licence available at the time they are downloaded or published. Licence terms may differ between platforms and individual images.
Where attribution is required, we aim to provide it in accordance with the relevant licence.
Brand, Retailer and Product Images
Articles may include images supplied or published by:
- Product manufacturers
- Retailers
- Design studios
- Furniture companies
- Home-improvement brands
- Public-relations representatives
- Affiliate partners
These images may be used to identify, review, compare, discuss or recommend products and services.
All trademarks, logos, product names and brand-owned photographs remain the property of their respective owners.
Creative Commons Material
Some material may be used under a Creative Commons or similar public licence.
When required, we aim to provide:
- The creator’s name
- The original source
- The applicable licence
- A link to the licence
- An indication of whether changes were made
Licence information is reviewed using the details available at the time of publication.
Public-Domain Material
Stylish Galore may use material believed to be in the public domain.
This may include certain historical works, government-created resources or material for which applicable copyright protection has expired.
Publicly accessible content is not automatically public-domain content. We aim to distinguish between material that is merely available online and material that is legally free to use.
AI-Assisted and Digitally Created Images
Stylish Galore may use AI-assisted visuals, illustrations, digital mock-ups or conceptual room images.
Such visuals are generally intended to communicate a decorating idea, colour palette, room style or design concept. They should not be interpreted as architectural plans, technical drawings or guaranteed representations of an achievable finished result.
We aim to avoid deliberately generating or publishing images that reproduce a known creator’s protected work in a substantially similar manner.
Reader and Contributor Submissions
Images may occasionally be submitted by readers, contributors, brands or collaborators.
By submitting an image, the sender represents that they own the material or have sufficient authorization to allow Stylish Galore to use it.
Stylish Galore reserves the right to decline, edit, remove or request further information about submitted content.
Attribution
Where attribution is required or appropriate, it may appear:
- Beneath an image
- In an image caption
- Within the relevant article
- At the end of an article
- On a dedicated credits page
- Through a link to the original creator or source
The exact attribution format may depend on the licence, source and available ownership information.
We aim to credit the original creator rather than an account or website that merely reposted the material.
Attribution does not, by itself, replace the need for permission when permission is legally required.
Missing or Incomplete Attribution
Despite reasonable efforts, an image may occasionally appear with missing, outdated or incomplete credit.
This can happen when:
- Ownership information is unavailable
- An image has been widely reposted
- Metadata has been removed
- A source page is deleted or changed
- The original creator is incorrectly identified
- A licence or attribution requirement is misunderstood
We do not intentionally withhold accurate attribution.
A creator or rights holder may contact us to request:
- Corrected attribution
- An updated creator name
- A link to the original source
- A licence correction
- Replacement of the image
- Removal of the image
Where the request can be reasonably verified, we will review the appropriate correction.
Informal Copyright Concerns
Rights holders are welcome to contact Stylish Galore before submitting a formal DMCA notice.
An informal request may be appropriate when you want us to:
- Add or correct attribution
- Link to your website or portfolio
- Replace an image
- Remove a specific image
- Correct ownership information
- Discuss permission or licensing
We aim to resolve genuine concerns cooperatively whenever possible.
Sending an informal request does not limit your right to submit a formal copyright-infringement notice.

What Happens After We Receive a Notice
After receiving a reasonably complete copyright notice, Stylish Galore may:
- Confirm receipt of the notice.
- Review the information provided.
- Locate the material identified in the complaint.
- Temporarily restrict access to the material while it is reviewed.

When material is removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice, the person who supplied the material may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
A counter-notification should include:
- The person’s physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled.
- The location where the material appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the person has a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- The person’s full name, address and telephone number.

- Agreement to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.
The U.S. Copyright Office provides official Section 512 resources and sample information concerning takedown notices and counter-notifications.
Send counter-notifications to the same DMCA contact listed above using the subject line:

Restoration of Removed Material
After a valid counter-notification is forwarded to the original complaining party, the material may be restored in accordance with applicable law unless the complaining party informs us that it has initiated appropriate legal proceedings.
Stylish Galore may decline to restore content when:
- The counter-notification is incomplete
- The sender’s identity cannot reasonably be verified
- Restoration would violate another law or contractual obligation
- The content violates a separate website policy
- A court order or other legal restriction applies
Misrepresentations and False Claims
Copyright notices and counter-notifications are legal communications.
Do not knowingly make false statements about:
- Ownership
- Authorization
- Infringement
- Removal by mistake
- The location or identity of material
- Your authority to act for another party
A person who knowingly makes material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notification may be responsible for resulting damages, costs or legal fees.
Consider obtaining advice from a qualified copyright professional before submitting a formal notice when you are uncertain about your rights.
Repeat Infringement
Where appropriate, Stylish Galore may restrict or terminate access for contributors or users who repeatedly submit infringing material.
We may also remove material associated with repeated, credible copyright complaints.
Any repeat-infringer determination will be made in good faith and in light of the circumstances reasonably available to us.
